About Us – a few interesting tid bits.

We came to Ecuador just like others before us, and that is to follow our tropical dream and leave the winter behind.  We are formerly from Manitoba, Canada. We sold all our property and took the big leap and left everything behind in Canada to move into our completed home at Mirador San Jose, Ecuador in the fall of 2012. A little more than a year later after settling in, we decided to build a smaller rental/family vacation home next to our main house.The experience in Ecuador has been a roller coaster ride for sure, but we remained vigilant and haven’t looked back since. We have found the perfect blend of tropical living in Ecuador and summertime in Canada. We welcome you to our “casita” and remember we are just next door if you need any assistance or advice about the area.
