Our comfortable “casita” will make all your stress disappear while you relax outside in our tropical yard and take in the Ecuadorian sun. Listen to the birds, breathe the ocean air and chill out short term or long term. We are happy to have you whether it is for 2 nights, a week, or months at a time.

The Community
Casa Spondylus is located in the gated Canadian owned community of Mirador San Jose, Ecuador. Just a short 40-minute drive south of the city of Manta. You are never far away from city life and amenities if that’s your thing.
There is plenty to do in the area. Visit the small and hectic Panama Hat town of JipiJapa, take an island tour from Puerto Lopez, visit the monkeys in Pachoche, take in the restaurants and sights at fun and crazy Montanita or just laze around in the community pool. While you are there why not play some tennis or run around the FIFA regulation size soccer field?
All of your community attractions are within a 10-minute walk of Casa Spondylus. We have restaurants/bars in the community, as well as a place to get your convenience groceries and alcohol in our small general store. Located only 2 minutes from your guest house. How convenient is that?
